Ian regularly does one-off demonstrations and workshops for art groups and societies throughout the Midlands. These can either be half days or full days timed according to the group's wishes. He is also a regular contributor to the Centre of England Arts programme during the year. He provides an interesting approach to traditional landscape painting, in particular with winter trees which combine loose washes with detailed modelling as in many of the examples in the website galleries.
